This episode, we all breathed a little sigh of anticipation. Liv and Rowan’s relationship, as well as her relationship with Edison, is fleshed out in the past. Meanwhile, in the present, Liv is defending Jeanine, the woman currently being accused of sleeping with the President. Rowan is fine with her taking the fall. Liv wants to clear her name, but if Jeanine is cleared then Jake dies and that’s a big problem for Olivia.
Quotes From The Podcast:
“So, Liv’s version of that good life is that she’d be making jam? People don’t even make jam like that anymore. We’re not in the 1800s. Like they have companies for that, don’t they, to make jam?” – Alta
“Liv is not somebody that people should emulate completely. She’s a workaholic. She’s very good at what she does but she has no morals. And in her personal life, she just takes one emotional beating after another from the people in her life. Like she’s not somebody that I want to be like and she’s not somebody Quinn should be like either.” – Sabrina
“I legitimately don’t think Olivia thinks she will ever ever settle down with Fitz. And that’s why she’s still interested in him. Because as long as he’s president, she’ll always have that dream of marrying him, of settling down with him. It’ll always be perfect, basically, as long as it doesn’t happen.” – Alta.
“Liv, yeah, she’s the champion of lost causes, of crazy, disturbing people, whatever. But Jake is actually one of the best guys on this show that we actually know something about… Jake is the bright light.” – Sabrina
