Twisted: The Truth Will Out Review

“Considering what happened, I’m kind of wondering what was the point of telling us her dad’s gay, because….what did it really do for Lacey’s life? I heard someone say that we were supposed to get more on Lacey, but in this episode where we were supposed to get more about Lacey, the only thing the show really seemed to care about is the part of Lacey’s life that includes Jo. Basically everything that happened to Lacey in this episode was meant to fortify her burgeoning friendship with Jo. So her dad being gay was kind of about Jo being there for her. Her sister’s party was about Jo being there for her. Her parents being introduced, her dad being introduced and showing her parents interacting….was about Jo being there for her. [……] I think I’ve hit on why the stuff that I got with Lacey in this episode didn’t really work for me. [….] Focusing on Lacey was about Lacey and Jo.”

I thought we already established that he was a sociopath …

She was like a step-mom instead of mom-mom.

    Contrived … Danny/Karen.

Lacey’s life is more talk than show.

    What are these transitions?

In this episode was Lacey’s story the B plot? Because they did spend a lot of time at the station and with Danny and his mom’s issues. It just felt too evenly distributed and then that made it feel uneven. to me.

Well Lacey’s mom has only been on the show like twice.

Damn I wish Judy knew so she could make snide remarks and then we could get a reason as to why.

hehe they had a hook up … so maybe they were separated and then had a divorce.

I wish we’d seen her sister.

oooooooooh shaaaaaaaade. I didn’t even think about that’ Karen/Judy/Tess. oop. *sips tea*

Damn they made Judy thirsty … she is thirsty. That’s why Lacey is annoyed by her.

Why bring up Lacey’s sister at all, if they’re not going to show her. :\

Joe was the POV holder. the Pov follows her for the most part.

I feel like he would have said something about Rico’s shadiness.

Alta you expect too much. smh I mean I love it but you know status quo.

It was all the talent of the actress. Lacey’s facial expression.

    it was filler. funnily enough.

for some odd reason I just craved a drabble with Sarita and Jeremy … Gilbert. dats your fault.

MAD YOU BROUGHT UP TYLER OUT OF NOWHERE! smh

    😉

    • Lacey’s life is more talk than show.

      It really is!

Girl, I wanted to do something different. Lol.

It just felt too evenly distributed and then that made it feel uneven. to me.

That’s the problem I had. You really couldn’t tell whether she had the A plot or the B plot.

Well Lacey’s mom has only been on the show like twice.

      Not acceptable -_-.

Damn they made Judy thirsty … she is thirsty. That’s why Lacey is annoyed by her.

      😦

      It’s so freaking strange.

Lol! I think Sarita’s mean tendencies would be a turn-off for Jeremy. But hey, who says it has to be something deep?

MAD YOU BROUGHT UP TYLER OUT OF NOWHERE! smh

      Stay mad! Lol!

        gurrrrrl lol

        Stay mad! Lol!
        *DED* I can’t even!

I feel like Robin Givens should be more present. She was in Boomerang and Women of Brewster Place for goodness sakes. IDK I just remember seeing a lot of her when I was younger.

Jo’s people and Danny’s people are in every episode. Why should it be different for Lacey? smh.
