  1. At the moment I´m raging for sure … and I did like many of the scenes, but as a Bonnie fan I´m seriously offended.

And confession time: I was hoping for Bonnie being the love interest for Klaus. Only for him being interested in her, perhaps obsessed … take what you like.
So my voting is probably biased … but this scene was contrived like no other. I had to close my eyes.

Sorry, but TVD is doing this to me … this didn´t happen with any other show I watched.

    • I loved everything Bonnie which is why I liked the episode. My fears were unfounded.

I didn’t want Klonnie. I didn’t want Klaus with any of the teens. I cut this out of the 3.10 spoiler section because it got too long, but a friend made me want Klaus to have a crush on Abby or at least a history with her. Klaus/Caroline is really just favoritism rearing its head. Yet again I’m unmoved by a Caroline ship.

But really, like a friend of mine said, Klaus should have been interested in Bonnie if he was going to be interested in anyone. She’s tried to kill him twice. He’s not intrigued by that? It’s like a Hollywood rule. But I guess Klaus is too lame.

    • i thought it would have been katherine actually but bonnie would be more exciting but i am not sure what caroline could do for him becaus ehe could easily compel her, she can’t kill him and she is not powerful enough for a villain to like!

  2. Stefan went from getting on my nerves last episode, to me kind of sort of loving him in this episode. Stefan would be a really good villain why isn’t he the villain? Klaus is a dud as the villain. But Stefan is bringing it as a bad guy. Stefan needs to just chop Klaus’ head off and be done with it. The hybrids are also pathetic.

Klaus/Caroline really really. I guess he has somewhere to put his incestual feelings for his sister.

Bonnie I was upset with her first scene with Jeremy. That’s all you got to say. Than she told Elena off and I screamed like a 5 yr old.

And I was bitter 10mins in. Bonnie/Jeremy talked all of 5 seconds at the lockers, Forwood got this 5 min scene with terrible music. F you show.

    • Why isn’t Stefan the villain?! He’s clearly better at it than Klaus. I couldn’t believe it when Klaus gave in. Stefan has him bowing.

Klaus being into Caroline further takes him down.

I was scratching my head at the first conversation. I was wondering why she was talking to him like he decided to leave. Then I was gobsmacked when the Elena thing happened. It was perfect and exactly the way I imagined Bonnie telling Elena off: it slips out at first and then she just goes all in.

I really thought we wouldn’t see Bonnie again after she left the party. Heck I didn’t think we’d even get to see Jeremy leave.

  3. Well, Bonnie told Elena off, and I loved when she asked if Elena was gonna compel her too, but of course Bonnie was portrayed as in the wrong ’cause she party-pooped Caroline’s birthday-funeral. And of course the writers wouldn’t let her tell Jeremy the truth. Sigh.

Last ep Damon reassures Elena she’s such a great sister. This ep Matt reassures Elena that she’s a great daughter, girlfriend & friend. Next ep? Klaus reassures Elena that she’s the best bloodbank ever. And Alaric reiterates how strong she is (for a puny human who still has zero chance fighting a vamp/wolf/hybrid… I can’t wait for another scene of Elena jogging or working out only to be shown up by a stalker hybrid or Damon).

So Elena basically admitted her compelling of Jeremy was purely selfish… because *she* didn’t want to lose anyone else. Well, that’s great. I hope she loses him anyway, when he finds out he was mind-controlled again. But he’ll probably reassure her that she’s the best sister/cousin/reason for him being in danger in the freakin’ first place.

Stefan’s Evol now… not for killing all those innocent people and reassembling their body parts like a psycho. Not even for scaring Elena/threatening to vamp her. But because he failed to reassure her afterwards that he still lurves her and is doing all this *for* her. 😛

Revenge against Klaus is his motivation?! (Elena asks incredulously, although I’d like to see *Elena* motivated by a desire for revenge since Klaus killed her Aunt Jenna right in front of her but…who cares about that?) Get with the program, Stef! All male characters must worship Elena and put her wishes first!

Look at what Tyler’s going through because he dared to put another girl first… now he literally can’t… and was forced to almost-kill her. See, taking away someone’s free will is bad. If your name is Klaus and not Elena. 😛

    • Bonnie asking Elena if she was going to compel her too was an actual dialogue in my head as I daydreamed about best case scenarios for this episode before it aired. Imagine my joy when she said it! I think they portrayed her stance on what Elena fairly, heck it was even tipped in Bonnie’s favor because in the end Elena admitted that Bonnie was right. Even at the end of the episode Bonnie was still giving Elena dirty looks (yes!). I don’t think Bonnie could have told Jeremy, and it’s all because of the writing. She literally is not supposed to because Jeremy must be compelled. It’s where the writers’ desires override how a character would act. Sucks.

Next ep? Klaus reassures Elena that she’s the best bloodbank ever.

After the way Klaus was in this episode with Caroline? His idiot behind probably would. Why is Klaus such fail?

Elena asks incredulously, although I’d like to see *Elena* motivated by a desire for revenge since Klaus killed her Aunt Jenna right in front of her but…who cares about that?

This! But like I already said, this show shelved Elena’s feelings so we could get to know the guy who murdered her and ~feel for him.

See, taking away someone’s free will is bad. If your name is Klaus and not Elena.

      Lol.

    • I have a theory that Bonnie put a note in Jeremy’s pocket telling him the truth. HEAD!CANON

Also that made Bonnie say she was sorry to Elena while she was telling her off.

      Sister/cousin LOL

What the hell is a “Jenna”?

Good point on Tyler/Klaus. vs. Elena/Jeremy

      • Also that made Bonnie say she was sorry to Elena while she was telling her off.

Maybe I’m remembering wrong, but I thought she was more apologizing for bringing down Caro’s party. Either way, her face communicated how she really felt by the end of the ep. No apology there. And Elena saw it too, lol.

  4. i don’t know about you guys but i think the klaus/caroline thing is so cute…i think the reason he likes her is because she reminds him of his mother who probably once loved a werewolf…but to betray his hybrid (nod in disappointment)!

    • i think the reason he likes her is because she reminds him of his mother who probably once loved a werewolf

Goodness. I hope they either go with this or the other popular option: he likes her because he’s doing the whole displacement thing wrt Rebekah.

  5. Well, I didn’t expect it but I really liked this ep. Like, it’s probably my fave ep of S3 so far (which isn’t saying much, lol). I thought this was the most character-focused episode of this season – which again doesn’t say much since we’re talking about TVD. But it was definitely a good ep for the teens, with the exception of poor Jeremy of course. And when Bonnie called out Elena, I was like “Is this really happening or am I dreaming?” It was so great and so unexpected. We should really keep an eye on Rebecca Sonnenshine.

Of course, there was some stuff I didn’t really care about, namely everything Klaus. Klaus is just the worst. The Klaus/Caroline scene was weird. I didn’t want Klaus to be interested in any of the teens, either. Anyways, I wasn’t feeling the scene at all. I think CA did a good job, as always, but JM made some weird acting choices.

And maybe I’m descending into madness but I even liked the triangle stuff!? I mean, it is what it is. But in contrast to what we got earlier this season, I thought the scenes in this ep were fine.

    • I’ve been liking the TOD the last two episode what’s happening to me? All of the scenes they’ve had with each other have been good.

The only unacceptable person on the show for me now is Klaus he has to go.

Maybe the first half of this season was so bad that this episodes are really okay by comparison. 3×10 and 3×11 are my favorite episodes so far this season.

    • I agree with you. It was the most character-driven ep in a very long while, and I think it’s the strongest episode of the season. I hope it sets the tone for the episodes to come.

I liked the triangle stuff too! Lmao. Rebecca Sonnenshine seems to write Bonnie as well as character confrontations well.

Yeah, pretty much everything you didn’t care for I didn’t either and that includes Forwood.
